SUNSHINE JAZZ FESTIVAL
During the Day: The festival offers clinics from renowned jazz performers and educators. These clinics provide increased visibility and career opportunities for middle and high school students who may be interested in pursuing music in their educational endeavors. During this session, (18 ) local middle and high school jazz bands will perform for a panel of three professional jazz adjudicators.
During the Evening: The Sunshine Jazz Festival offers an evening performances from a variety of jazz ensembles and guest artists.
Private music lessons serve a critical role in the development of musical abilities and techniques. One-on-one lessons allow for a dynamic that cannot happen in any other environment, and allows for the student to develop a more solid foundation. We work to provide the best possible instruction for the students by providing the best instructors and materials - and working with local schools to make sure students are learning material suitable for school bands and orchestras.
PRIVATE LESSONS
The musicians in Stark Raving to their credit they have Grammy nominations, Downbeat Awards, University credentials and they have worked in every facet of the music business performing for clients such as Warner Brothers, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Fox, HBO, Universities, record labels, etc. Their musical impact has become international in scope.
Scott Wilson heads Stark Raving and has hosted the Juilliard Jazz Workshops, Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Camp, Jam Camps, etc. and has served as Musical Director for Universal Studios Japan and is the current Jazz Studies Director at the University of Florida.
